Entrainement 2015

Waterloo – Horoumont Farm – November 2015

Autumn training

On the occasion of the shooting of sequences for A film, our dragons ended up on the Hogumont prairie. This exit was an opportunity to do a final training. and to close the year of the bicentenary.

Nothing correct can be achieved without an impeccable alignment from the outset.

Left-hand conversion: the right-hand riders (on the left of the screen) accelerates while those left move very slowly, the key is to stay constantly aligned for the squad to pivot correctly.

Depending on each horse, the difficulties are different:
Some horses are more powerful and faster, others do not like not the presence of a congener next to them.

The distance between each horse must also be respected to avoid “stacking” of a horse backwards.

From left to right:
The trumpet, the Brigadier Providence, the surgeon Aide-Major, the Bold, the Viscount (eagle-holder)
Fauchepiaille, the Slasher, the Captain, Cossack (Hussard of the 7th Rgt.)

For the eagle holder, an additional difficulty: Driving with one hand. Fortunately, it’s a Pro.

The Trumpet: the colours of the uniform are inverted and the mane Helmet is white.

Our guest: Eric of the 7th Hussard Regiment
